In a bid to meet the 2050 global challenge of feeding 9 billion people, the 5th Global Feed & Food Congress (GFCC) has kick started in Antalya, Turkey.

The congress is organized by International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF)  in cooperation with the European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation (FEFAC) and hosted by the Turkish Feed Manufacturers’ Association (TURKIYEM BIR), with technical support provided by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The theme for the 5th GFFC is ‘Equity and Prosperity for All’. The sessions at the 5th GFFC will cover the whole feed manufacturing and food processing value chain, with a special focus on: Sustainability, Markets & Trade, Integrity  Feed & Food Safety, Regulations & Standards, Animal Nutrition and Innovation and R&D

GFFC series was launched in 2005 by to provide a global platform for scientists, industry, governments, civil society and intergovernmental organizations to come together to discuss critical issues of food and feed safety, technology, innovation and sustainability.
