FACAN calls FG to rescue exporters from Central Bank repatriation

  

The Federation of Agricultural Commodity Associations of Nigeria ( FACAN) has asked the management of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council ( NEPC) to wade into shortage being imposed on commodities' exporters who their export proceeds are subjected to official rate having procured from the open market.

The President, Federation of Agricultural Commodity Association of Nigeria (FACAN), Dr. Victor Iyama has asked the Governor of Cross Rivers State, Prof. Ben Ayade to discontinue the pursuit of cocoa and other agricultural produce regulation through an obnoxious law, saying it is economically retrogressive to farmers and other stakeholders at the value chains of productivity.

The Nigerian  Entrepreneurship Forum, NEF in partnership with Federation of Agricultural Commodity Association of Nigeria (FACAN), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to access the five billion dollars made available by the Chinese government through its Entrepreneurship Development Centre Facility under the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for entrepreneurs in the country to ensure standard for export.
