The National Shea Products Association of Nigeria (NASPAN), Mohammed Ahmed Kontagora has commended the joint effort of the Federal Government ( FG) towards ensuring preservation of the shea nuts for local productivity.

Pres Tinubu extends raw shea nuts export ban



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the extension of the ban placed on the export of raw shea nuts for another year, effective from February 26, 2026, to the following month of next year.

Shea nuts/butter approve for trading on exchange floor, says Nat. President


The National President of National Shea Products Association of Nigeria (NASPAN), Mohammed Ahmed Kontagora has said that the two derivatives from shea ( nuts and butter) would soon join other agricultural commodities being traded on the floor of Exchange Commission.
