Livestock Minister Discusses With FAO Representative in Sudan Project of Cooperation Among Countries of South in Sudan

The Minister of Livestock Prof. Musa Tibin reviewed, at his office Wednesday, with the Regional Representative of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Sudan Abdu Gamma the project of cooperation among the countries of the South in Sudan.

Prof. Tibin welcomed the project of cooperation, which FAO has been preparing for it, during the coming period, affirming Sudan's support for the project, vowing to provide all possible assistance to the project.

For his part, FAO representative in Sudan said that the organization was looking forward for Sudan support to the project of South-South cooperation through sharing of information and experiences, adding that the project includes the Ministries of Livestock, Agriculture and Environment, pointing out that the organization has embarked on preparatory steps to implement the project in the coming period.

Meanwhile, the minister discussed with the delegation of the Russian Rostselmash Company ways of cooperation in the field of agricultural machineries in Sudan. He announced his support to the Russian Company signing contract with GIAD Company, referring to the country's vast potential in the agricultural and livestock fields and ways to exploit them.
