The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) has been given award of excellence performance and transparency in procurement procedure towards food security matters.
The was stated in a press release made available yesterday, and signed by Eremah Anthonia on behalf of the ministry.
The statement stated that the award was presented by the Executive Director, Center for Transparency Watch, Mr. Emmanuel Ayule who said it was a reflection of outstanding performance of the ministry' s management towards ensuring transparency, good governance and excellence in public service.
The PS in the statement was delighted saying “it shows that we are doing the right thing in the procurement process. We are grateful that you have seen through the transparency we displayed on behalf of the ministry, I say thank you and appreciate your coming to honour us”.
