The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Rural Development (FMARD) officially handed over the newly constructed Primary Animal Health Centre to Ogun State Government today, 17th March 2021.
The new facility was built in Ajegunle Farm Settlement, nearby Ogun State Television (OGTV), at Odeda Local Government Area.
The Project is one of several community development projects executed in different parts of the State by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to support farmers and Agrian Communities for improved Agricultural Activities in Livestock and related value chains.
In his remarks, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina, appreciated the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for the selection of Ogun State as a beneficiary State of the Primary Animal Health Centre, noting that the Ministry of Agriculture will make the best use of the Facility to support Agricultural Value Chain activities and livestock entrepreneurship in Ogun State.
The event aligns with Ogun State Agricultural Agenda to promote Strategic Partnership with all Agencies responsible for supporting Agriculture and Allied activities.
