The Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) Mrs. Folashade Joseph has been reappointed for the second term in office by President Muhammadu Buhari with effect from April 11, 2021. This was contained in a press statement made available to us by the Head, corporate Services of NAIC, Mrs. Magdalene Omosimua.
The release stated that the reappointment letter of Mrs. Joseph was signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) Alhaji Sani Nanono who confirmed the reappointment to hard work, dedication, commitment , service delivery, and her contributions to the organization’s development.
Nanono was said to have urged the CEO to bring to bear wealth of experience that will ensure effective NAIC performance using its agricultural insurance mandate act to mitigating losses in farming towards sustainable food security in Nigeria.
