The National Export Promotion Council is on the track to fulfilling
its promise to take Nigeria women to the global market as it partakes in
a 3-day Food Expo in Chicago.
The food expo, organised by the Institute of Food Technologists, which is holding at the McCormick Place, South Chicago, USA featured 1,000 exhibitors from 90 countries.
The food expo has in attendance Exporters, importers, key buying decision makers, regulators and policy makers in food related activities, as well as regulatory agencies within the entire “Farm to Table” value chain.
Ahead of the Food Expo which commenced on July 17 to run through July 19, was a 2-day pre-event capacity building training courses for participants.
The programme which has NEPC as one of the facilitators from Nigeria will help to increase the participation of Nigerians in the international market.
