Livestock: FG spends N360m in 2yrs vaccinations





The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) has said it has spent over three Hundred of Sixty Millions Naira (N360, 500.000) as intervention fund on five different vaccines distributed to all states of the federation to checkmate spread of animals’ trans-boundaries disease between 2020 and 2021 years. FG TO SUPPORT STATES IN NORTH EAST WITH FREE LIVESTOCK VACCINES

 


The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar has said that Federal Government (FG) through the Department of Veterinary and Pest Control Services will support Gombe , and other States in the north east  with two million  Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP), Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), Peste Des Petits Ruminants (PPR) and Newcastle Disease (ND) vaccines among others.
