The newly elected national president, National Carrot Growers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria (NACAGPROMAN) Mr. John Aderibigbe has said it is very possible for Nigeria to earn $720b in the production and processing of carrots being the largest producer in Sub- Sahara Africa (SSA), and 32nd largest producer in the world with approximately 225,000tons annually.

Insecurity: Taraba farmers express future food scarcity

The Chairman, All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Taraba state, Mr. Bala Aji has raised an alert of food scarcity against next year, saying farmers are afraid to go to farms due to naferous activities of kidnappers, herders and climate change impacts.

Poultry meat: FG determines on deficit, says Minister
