CAN proposes five year plan as price fall

One of the focal issues the first international cocoa conference starting tomorrow Monday in Abuja, Nigeria may have to look into is how a five year action plan will be put in place to strengthen the produce against the falling price through backward integration production with consumption through provisions of government off takers policy.

Sesame is an oil seed and is one of Sudan's important foreign exchange earners.
The sesame crop flourishes best in the rain-fed agricultural zones of Gedarif in the Central- East of Sudan that hosts the country's major modern and camel-driven oil mills. It is also widely grown in the Daly, Mazmoum and Agadi districts of the Blue Nile State and in the plains of Northern and Southern Kordofan states. It is cultivated mechanically and manually in all those regions.

There are indications that input providers under the umbrella Agro-Dealer Association of Nigeria (GESAAN)  might stage another protest  for the none payment of 39 billon naira being the  balance payment for the input supplied for agricultural farming seasons in the last and present administrations under the Growth Enhancement Scheme (GES).
