Agric Commodity Associations commend IAR

 

The National President, National Sunflower Growers, Processors and Marketers Association ( NSUNGMAN) , Alhaji Jubril Bukar has  commended the Institute of Agricultural Research (IAR), Zaria for its consistency in the provision of improved technologies for food sustainability in Nigeria.

Bukar made this commendation at the Tuesday year 2026 annual research cropping scheme program held at the IAR to give feedback on agricultural activities performance of crop improved varieties on the adopted fields in the North West Nigeria.

The President popularly called sunflower at the Institute appealed to the scientists to ensure a higher yielding seeds with more oil content to meet global demand.

He therefore on behalf of all Agricultural commodities commended the Institute for its selfless efforts to ensure improved seed varieties availability for farming communities towards food security.
