National Agric Show comes up November 24th

The 17th edition of the National Agricultural show has been slated for 24th-28, November, 2025, and President Tinubu is expected to attend the show for stakeholders' encouragement towards high foods productivity.

This was stated in a notification made available to us by the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria (NAFN), Architect Kabir Ibrahim.

It was said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to grace the occasion so as to strengthen and consolidate the overall Agricultural ecosystem, as it was added that His Excellency's presence would enhance motivation of small scale farmers and all other stakeholders in foods value chain systems.

The notification stated that " It will be the toast of the 17th edition of the Annual National Agricultural show if Mr. President graced the occasion just like President Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR did before him when he graced one of the editions."

" The event is planned to enable small holder farmers, researchers, farm machinery manufacturers, federal government ministries and MDAs, State Governments, as well as government institutions, food vendors, and the general public, etc, to converge in one place for 5 days to share experiences"

The show will play a crucial role in educating the non-farming public about the origins of their food and the complexities of the agricultural process.

The notification further described the agric sector as " Nigeria’s Agrifood system is going through a tremendous challenge at the moment and requires realignment around Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Program through the hand-in-hand program evolved by the Food and Agricultural Organization ( FAO) in collaboration with the German Cooperation(GIZ), the Nigerian government through the FMAFS and the private sector including Nigeria Agribusiness Group, National Association of Chambers of Commerce Industry, Mining and Agriculture( NACCIMA) as well as numerous Agriprenuers such as Dangote Tomato to become sustainable"
