The Commissioner for Agriculture, Cross River State, Mr. Johnson Ebokpo has said his state is ready to host the upcoming National Council of Agriculture (NCA) meeting. Although no specific date has been announced for the meeting.
The annual event which focuses on key policies discussion and critical issues in the agricultural sector may have been set to return after a two-year hiatus.
Speaking during a recent event in Abuja, Mr. Johnson Etebo revealed that Cross River is fully prepared to host the important gathering that had been originally scheduled for the past two years but was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
“We are prepared and ready to host the National Council of Agriculture meeting. It is a crucial platform for discussing policies that will drive the development of the agricultural sector, and we are excited to contribute to its success" he said.
The NCA meeting provides a vital opportunity for stakeholders to come together, review progress, and set the agenda for the continued growth and transformation of agriculture in Nigeria.
