Election will soon hold, says AFAN president

The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Architect Kabir Ibrahim has said national election will soon be conducted as soon as all litigations in the court law are withdrawn by the Faruk Mudi factions. Ibrahim stated this in a press release made available to us last week Friday.

Architect Ibrahim stated that ‘’ The National Election will take place as soon as the suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/322/2020 in Court 9 Abuja under Justice Taiwo Taiwo filed by Faruk Rabiu Mudi and his group is disposed of’’

He pointed that AFAN election committee led by Engr. Musa Marte had already conducted election into the states’ executive offices since year 2018 while about 33 out of 34 of them were already certified as Ibrahim queried those transacting business with Mudi as AFAN president when the court has not ruled on the case he brought or election conducted by the association.

It will be recalled that concerned AFAN members have given on or before 15th of January for the Ibrahim led AFAN to conduct an election into the National executive positions of the association while all litigations in the court have been advised to be withdrawn for internal resolution.
