The former Permanent Secretary (PS), Federal Ministry of Agriculture and rural Development (FMARD) Dr. Mua'zu Abdulkadir has officially handed over to the Director, Federal Department of Agriculture yesterday in closed door meeting. Food Farm News confirmed that the former PS has reached his retiring period, and this has necessitated the official handing to Hajia Karima Babaginda of the FDA. It was a closed door meeting held yesterday at the headquarters office in Abuja.
It will be recalled that the last official statement made by the outgoing PS, Dr. Muasu was calling off the National Agricultural Council meeting, attributed to the rising of the Covid-19 pandemic across the country.
Retirement is a necessity,a new world awaits him which calls for Gods guidance and wisdom.I wish he will play more roles in Agriculture in spite of his retirement.Congrats.
