REJOINDER to Agric minister’s release on Cocoa rebirth

In a Press Release titled “Agric Minister Challenges Committee on Revitalization of Cocoa Production in Nigeria”, issued on 13^th January, 2017, it was erroneously/mistakenly stated that the Chairman of the Committee is Dr. Peter Aikpokpodion, who was also referred to as the Director of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria.

We wish to correct the mistakes contained in the Press Release as follow: 

1. That the chairman of the cocoa re-launch programme in Nigeria is Dr.  Olayiwola Olubamiwa, who is also the Director of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria; and 

2. That Dr. Peter Aikpokpodion is not the chairman of the cocoa re-launch programme in Nigeria, and he is not the Director of the Cocoa Research         Institute of Nigeria.   

     

All inconveniences caused to both Dr. Peter Aikpokpodion and Dr. Olayiwola Olubamiwa as a result of the Press Release is highly regretted please.
