Commodity Associations to reposition, ask for annual funding

A white paper will soon be presented to the Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI), Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo on how the agricultural commodity associations are to run more effectively through a well thought out constitution that enhances performance free of  constant crisis cum other related challenges.

NABDA is now more empowered

President Mohammed Buhari has signed into law the 2022 National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) establishment bill which by provision has empowered it to be able to research more into genetically modified technology crops towards food security.

Nigeria losses $14b annually on farmers-herders crisis, says Presidential Aide

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Agriculture and Head of (PACE) Secretariat, Dr. Andrew Kwasari has said over $14 billion is annually lost to farmers- herders conflict, just as 22 states have shown interest of participation in the National Livestock Transformation Plan (NLTP).

NiMet boss wants climate information taken to farmers

Agric correspondents, Ministry hold national summit on Livestock transformation

The Agricultural Correspondents of Nigeria (ACAN) in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) will on Tuesday, April 26th host participants across the states of the federation to a national summit on livestock transformation plan.
