We wish to commend President Muhammadu Buhari for his directive to the task committee on COVID 19 that 6,000 metric tons of food from the National Grains Reserve in the strategic silos be released to cushion effect of scarcity and increasing food prices in at least the three states of the federation namely, FCT, Lagos and Ogun that have been officially locked down, with movement restrictions for 14 days;

Interior minister orders farmers' back to farm

It's still possible to resume the GES, says Cellulant Boss
As the rumour of Growth Enhancement Scheme (GES) programme for efficient inputs distribution to small holder farmers continue to garner momentum, the chief principal operator of the technology in Nigeria has said that its return within a short window is possible, but the revalidation of the farmers’ data need to start immediately, being a proposed strategy by Messrs Cellulant to Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD).

Cat food mystery foils diet study
A study that set out to measure how much wildlife domestic cats eat to supplement the food they are given by their owners was unsuccessful due to an unexpectedly high variability in cat food ingredients. This accidental discovery suggests that some cat food manufacturers regularly change ingredient composition, even within the same flavors of cat food.
