The Federal Government of Nigeria has slated the 30th of July for International Rubber Conference, with an official opening at the Presidential Villa by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The event hopes to chart a way forward to harnessing the untapped potentials of rubber industry in Nigeria.
This was gathered during an exclusive chats with the Director, Commodities Product Inspectorate, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment ( FMITI), Mr. Irimiya Kaura with Food Farm News.
Mr. Kaura said the conference is expected to renew hope for the sub sector through the proper harnessing of potential in the rubber produce with appropriate technology and policies implementation adding the conference will draw stakeholders across the globe into an interface as it shall be officially started at presidential state house.
The potential in the rubber plantation has a long chains of job creation and economic earning that were evident in the past in Nigeria.
