The Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS)

Wednesday 5 August 2020

Press Release -CRLIMITED AUCTION HOUSE operated by Confidential Realtors Limited will be auctioning Farm Tractors in Lagos on Friday 14th August 2020.

We are of the conviction that tractorization will enhance agric commercialization.
The present agricultural commercialization in Nigeria cannot go far until our farmers are moved from subsistence farming of crude implements’ utilization to the use of tractors to clear, to cultivate
and harvest thereby reducing drudgery in farming.

Advanced nations of the world like America, United Kingdom, Canada, China, India and others have used improved mechanized technologies to advance their agricultural productivity optimally
especially the use of higher numbers of tractors, while countries like Nigeria are still far below average tractor requirements per hectare.

Nigeria as a nation in this 21st century has less than 30,000 tractors across the 36 states with 774 local government council as against the America, China and India. No wonder the low productivity
of agricultural produce and not being able to compete with other nations in terms of price ditto level of poverty and unemployment.

Hence CRLIMITED Auction House, as part of our contribution to turn the present low tractorization level of faming in the country around and also to join forces with President Mohammed Buhari’s
ambition of making tractors available to farmers at all the 774 local government of the federation that we have slated Farm Tractors Ursus 5312 Brand New tractors from Poland with 75hp for auction on 14th August, 2020 at Plot 235, Ijora Causeway, Opposite SIFAX Deport, Ijora, Moshood Abiola way Ijora, Lagos.

The participation fee is a modest #10,000. Potential Bidders can register online or on site from Tuesday 11 August 2020.
We implore cooperative farmers, individual farmer, corporate organizations and Government institutions to avail themselves with this opportunity to empower farmers in their locality for more
food productivity to mitigate COVID-19 impact on commercial Agriculture in Nigeria.

Signed
Ade Onanuga
CEO
