Research environment turned party ground

It is Friday party time right inside a venue that is called Agricultural research Institute managed by Nigeria Cereal Research Institute ( NCRI).
The spot is supposed to be a geological centre where climatic weather results and other research data are meant to be collected for further use , but is now turned to an event Centre where fees are collected even on a Friday that supposed to be a working day in a research Institute.

What a sad sight in the face of more demand for research innovations for more economic delivery . What happens to us in this country?. Why do we always misplace our priority for frivolity .

Can this be done in IITA in Ibadan. And we want to be competitive in this manner among the comity of the nations .

How I wish Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria will take up this matter for corrective measure that will put the institute back to its research mandate.

 Note that research Institute needs a quiet environment for academic research development for a nation building , but not a noisy environment. God bless Nigeria.
