IAR cropping scheme comes up April 16th

Researchers, scientists, extension officers, farmers and agro inputs dealers and agro engineers will by this week Tuesday converged at the Institute for Agricultural Research, Samaru, Zaria for a review of last year (2018) planting seasons towards a new plan for the current 2019 agricultural activities.

This meeting is very strategic to the agricultural planting activities for the year 2019 for the North West ecology zone with full consideration to climate change challenges and how best agronomics practices will be applied to ensure mass production for the Federal Government commercial agriculture and food security to become more realistic to checkmating import bill.

The meeting will attract other stakeholders from other regions from Research Institutes and agencies that are agriculture related so as to ensure more robust scientific discussions and knowledge sharing for development and productivity of food crops with better improved technologies.
