Our support for Buhari will go zonal says RIFAN President

Preparation to replicate the Aso Rock Villa support for President Mohammadu Buhari re-elect by the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) at the six Geo political zones will soon be embarked upon according to the President of the association, Alh. Aminu Mohammed Goronyo.

Goronyo who was speaking to audience of people at his office during a visit said the momentum to galvanise support for President Buhari re-elect for another four year by February, 2019 next would soon be embark upon by the Association to the zone and state levels for more mobilization of farmers into realizing the victory goal for him saying the friendly policy of the present government to agriculture must be well sustained through continuity.

He said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) anchor borrower programme had lifted million of farmers out of poverty especially on rice productions which had reduced importation to a very large extent stressed that the repayment of loan was ongoing according to report reaching him from my states of the Federation.

According to him ‘’ there will be follow up to the version of the gathering we had with Mr. President on giving him our support for the re-elect of the 2019 presidential election. We are already preparing to take the campaign to zonal and states levels for farmers’ mobilization for Buhari’s support. Let me tell you that farmers are also repaying back their loans as the report from many states are showing messages of loan repayment on my phones every day’’
