“Apart from
food advantages of the mushroom, it is very medicinal to human body and there is
need to create that awareness for people to consume it at least once in a day.
What stops Dangote from producing mushroom noodles if it was well grown? This
also is the more reason why its production must be accelerated to meet the
demand needs as the forest where is mostly seen growing is daily shrinking due
to climatic change challenges. However we are going to increase production
through young farmers and at the same time galvanizes awareness on public
consumption, its medicinal value and many other things towards attracting
foreign exchange through export of it in a very shortest time” said he.
Speaking
after the conferment of the executives into their different positions, the National
Secretary of FACAN, Dr. Bello Dogodanji advised the leadership to embark on
reconciliation with all the aggrieved members and also to ensure the expansion
of the association at both the states and local government levels before the
coming election of the association, so as to enable the delegates from those
states to select the next executives officers.
