The Minister of state for Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Heineken Lokpbiri made this statement while declaring open a National Sensitization workshop on the selection of states to participate in the third rural access and mobility project in Abuja.

Evident achievements of the implementation of these activities in Kaduna and Cross River states in RAMP-1 and five states in RAMP-2 are encouraging. The Minister said that the interest being shown by more states to participate in the RAMP project has necessitated the scaling up to the
 Third phase.
