All farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) leader, Architect Kabiru Ibrahim has described the Anchor Borrower Program (ABP) of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a mere drop in an ocean just as President Mohammadu Buhari advised more agricultural commodities to key into the program for food surplus to checkmate importation.

Wheat: Varietal release stakeholders commend Jigawa Governor
The stakeholders at the recently concluded 30th meeting of the National Committee on naming, registration and release of crops, livestock breeds and fisheries varieties have hailed the support given by the Governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar to the development of a particular variety of Durum pasta wheat called ‘’MBA-MAJA (GERARDO)’’ that has high potential to produce pasta like Semolina, biscuits and spaghetti.

NiMet presents 2022 draft copy of SCP to stakeholders
The draft copy of the Seasonal Climate Prediction (SCP) was today presented to other stakeholders across all the sectors of the country’s economy for inputs before the final release for national use in February next month by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet). This stakeholders meeting under the auspices of NiMet was held today at Abuja.
