Agro-dealers may stage protest against 39billion naira

There are indications that input providers under the umbrella Agro-Dealer Association of Nigeria (GESAAN)  might stage another protest  for the none payment of 39 billon naira being the  balance payment for the input supplied for agricultural farming seasons in the last and present administrations under the Growth Enhancement Scheme (GES).

42ND REGULAR MEETING OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL ON AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT (NCARD) HELD AT DR. OBI WALI INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE, PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA FROM APRIL 24 – 28, 2017   


The 42nd Meeting of the National Council on Agriculture and Rural Development (NCARD) held at Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria from April 24 – 28, 2017 under the Chairmanship of the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Innocent Ogbeh, OFR, was declared open by His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON. The theme of the 42nd National Council on Agriculture and Rural Development (NCARD) Meeting was “Agribusiness Investment for Economic Stabilization, Diversification and Growth”. The Council meeting commenced after the opening ceremony.

All the resolution taken at the National Council of Agriculture (NCA), held at Port-Harcourt, Cross River state, this year April may have been going through a validation as a team of officials from the ministry will be meeting for the purpose according to our findings.
