President Tinubu may first to attend Agric Show

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may be the first nation's leader to personally attend Agric Show being organized by farmers in partnership with the National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria (NAFN). 


The Agric show event is slated for November 20th- 24th at KM 28, Abuja - Keffi Road.


The All Farmers' Association of Nigeria ( AFAN) President doubled as chairman, Board of Trustees, National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria (NAFN) Architect Kabir Ibrahim said this today in a conversation with Food Farm News saying President Tinubu might be the first among our leaders to attend the show coming up soon.


Architect Kabir Ibrahim said that " we have invited Mr. President and implored him to grace the occasion as a sign of his commitment to the attainment of " Food Security " as declared by him" pointed that " state of Emergency on food security calls for decisive actions"  of walk the talk in view of climate change challenges, insecurity, food inflation and Ukraine/ Russia war.


He added that " Nigeria is at a precipice and all hands must be on deck to turn the situation around our Food System. I urge all the AFAN State Chapter Chairs and all stakeholders in the Agriculture space to mobilize their members, who are largely the small holder farmers who are responsible for feeding the over 200,000,000 of our country men, women and Children"
