We can’t conduct election in court, says AFAN President

The President of the All Farmers’ Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Architect Kabiru Ibrahim has reiterated that no election will be conducted until the final ruling of the court slated for March 22, 2022.

Architect Ibrahim stated this in the message he tagged ‘’ very important’’ sent to our platform on Friday last week.

Ibrahim said the matter between AFAN and Faruk group is coming up for ruling on 22th, March 2022, saying no election can be done in the association until the case is dispensed .

He however enjoined all law-abiding members of the association to ignore any group or individual calling for any meeting slated for 8th, February adding that ‘’ we are determined to leave behind a stronger and more unified AFAN in spite of the Shenanigans of few misguided elements claiming to be stakeholders of AFAN’’

The AFAN headship promised an election as soon as anything to do with court issue is cleared adding that bonafide members would then be freed to contest without breach of legal procedure.
