Carrot- Nigeria can earn $720b annually, says new president
The newly elected national president, National Carrot Growers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria (NACAGPROMAN) Mr. John Aderibigbe has said it is very possible for Nigeria to earn $720b in the production and processing of carrots being the largest producer in Sub- Sahara Africa (SSA), and 32nd largest producer in the world with approximately 225,000tons annually.

IAR director tasks scientists on meeting farmers’ need

The National President, Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria (AMBCN) Mr. Ishaq Abdulkareem has said high wheat tariff by Federal Government (FG) and unchecked taxes across the states of the federation are the cause of hike in the price of bread with other confectionaries, just as he posited the inclusion of cassava and potato flours as a means to checkmate import bill expended on wheat.
