Lifezgreen unveils e-commerce for agribusiness

In an effort to deepen the development of agricultural business through efficient innovation to enhancing food distribution across the nation and entire globe, the Lifezgreen Diamond Acres Limited has officially launched an e-commerce technology that will fast track means of food accessibility from the point of production to the market.

The convener of the event recently held in Abuja, Mr. Olatunji Iranseoluwa who decried the crude method of practising agriculture which has short changed optimal potential of the sector into the economy pointed that e-commerce technology would ensure fast business and 100% efficiency between food buyers and sellers. 

Iranseoluwa noted that the platform is going to be 100% for agricultural produce conveyance within and outside the country based on request through the e-commerce website saying it would help to decongest the markets as direct transactions are made in one personal accounts for easy money transfer of produce from point of plenty harvest to where they were highly demanded.  

Speaking at the event, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council’s official, Elder Komolafe Martins emphasised and encouraged the use of   e-commercial to expand market frontlines of agricultural produce in the country and beyond from point of production to areas of need, added that its adoption and acceptability would fast- track way of doing business in a more safer way.      

Elder Martins said that the e-commerce platform would help to reposition the agric sector, as the use of the electronic technology would offer agro allied exporters a golden opportunity to trade in the foreign market with time and money saved.

The Director, Programmes and Coordinating Unit (PCU) Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD, )Mr. Buba Godobe  said that the starting off of the platform would encourage more youths into agribusiness adding that the use of e-commerce in agric business had helped farmers to  earn more in the global market when effectively  embraced as being supported by the Federal Government.
