AgraME set to bring global players in agriculture to the Middle East

AgraME, the foremost Agricultural trade exhibition of the Middle Eastern and North African countries is set to hold its 2017 edition.
 
The exhibition endorsed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ministry of Climate Change and Environment is poised to bring key players from the global agriculture, poultry and livestock industry, featuring country pavilions from China, Denmark, India, Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Taiwan and the Netherlands while hosting over 300 exhibitors from 22 countries.
 
Scheduled to hold from the 10th – 12th April, 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event is designed to serve as a global business portal for the booming agriculture, poultry, and livestock industries while provide insights into current industry developments and technologies.
 
According to a statement released by the organizers, “AgraME2017 also features the AgraME Conference in a whole new format. Water Management and Biosecurity – the two primary challenges of the industry will be the focus of the conference”
 
The three -day conference which will be chaired by the General Manager, Middle East Agrifood Publishers (MEAP), Ghassan Sayegh will discuss Biosecurity Policies and Practices on aspects of the Farm, including farm management and disease control, and the market, detailing transport and storage logistics and how to win large-scale clients. The event will also feature a conference on Veterinary Practices by EuroVets.
 
Alongside the event, the trade show will also include the AgraME, AquaME and VetME Awards, recognizing the outstanding achievements of individuals, departments, teams or organisations that have contributed to the growth and development of the agricultural, aquaculture and veterinary industry.
 
“These awards are now open for nominations and submissions and will be presented by the Ministry of Climate Change & Environment at a gala dinner on 10th April 2017. The award categories feature the Emirati Business Awards, recognising innovations in the industry made by UAE nationals and the Student Innovation Awards, recognising the industry’s future talent”.
