lands to them enable them embark on massive production of food.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief
Audu Ogbeh, has solicited the support of the lawmakers in protecting citizens’
interest on importation and smuggling through the borders, stating that”
Rejoinder: Importation is killing local sorghum production!

Ajeigbe posited that importation of sorghum is not totally killing its
production added that Federal Government has done a lot to boost the production
in about thirteen states.

Secretary General, Hides and skin, Mr. Husaini Saleh Ahmed has advocated for
the support of government towards establishing a collation centre for its
association saying it would bring about improvement to both local and export
trade through interface of the stakeholders in the production, processing and
marketing. He spoke on this medium on other issue of way forwards for the sub
