NCGA opens portal for new, old membership registration

The National Cassava Growers Association ( NCGA) has announced its new portal ( portal ncga.com.ng) for new and old members' registration across the nation.

This call was contained in signed letters by the President of the Association, Dr. Mustapha Bakano, and has already been sent out to all the states' chairmen across the nation.

The full content of the letter read thus...

" To All the Chairmen of Nigeria Cassava Growers Association (NCGA)

Dear Sir/Ma

NCGA New Portal Open for Registration – Call for Membership Registration Nationwide.

The good news is here. NCGA Registration is now open.

The portal provides ample opportunities for both the old and intending members to be onboard the platform.

Note that the old members, including the State Executive, are expected to revalidate their membership on the new portal.

Please see the Registration link below: https://www.portal.ncga.com.ng/login

It is seamless for an individual to navigate through the registration process within 5 minutes.

However, an option for bulk registration is also available where an individual member is unable to do the registration personally for one reason or the other.

How it works:

1. Payment will be made directly into the Association account below

Bank: First Bank plc

Account Name: Nigeria Cassava Growers Association

Account No: 2020748041

2. The State forwards the payment evidence and the list of farmers to the National.

3. The ICT unit will capture the individual farmers and generate USSD codes to enable the state chapter to upload the farmers’ data on the portal.

4. The State Office will now proceed to upload the individual farmer’s data into the portal to complete the registration. The State is, however, free to charge a token not more than N500 for the exercise.

Generally, after the successful payment on the portal, the system will generate the following documents for the Farmer to print.

1. Payment Receipt

2. Identity Card

3. Certificate of Registration

Fees, Cost, and Administrative Charges

The Registration fee per farmer (Old & New) is N10,000 flat Cost of Production (Web, portal maintenance, and web admin charges) – N5,000

Administrative Charges.

National – 2,000

State – N3,000 (Redeemable through the National)

Note: No unregistered persons, either Old or New, will be allowed to benefit from any programme and project of the Association.

We shall be rolling out the various programmes and projects of the Association at any moment. Terms and conditions apply.

The Registration Starts Now

Long Live Nigeria, Long Live NCGA.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Yours faithfully

Dr. Mustapha Othman Bakano

National President, NCGA
