The nominated Oyo All Farmers Association of Nigeria ( AFAN) chairman Engr. He promised that meeting with other farmers' cooperative groups across the local government towards successful monitoring of the National Agricultural Growth Scheme - Agro Pocket (NAGS-AP) towards food security in the state would continue unabated.

According to him " we have just held a meeting with the Baale Agbe and there was a good success towards inclusive farmers' unity towards getting their rights.I am promising you the meeting with other stakeholders will continue to achieve united farmers in the state towards food security"

The President of All Farmers Association of Nigeria ( AFAN) Architect Kabir Ibrahim has signed the letter of Oyo state chairman nomination after the authority given unto him by the Minister of Agriculture, Sen. Abubakar Kyari being also appointed as national working committee member.

Meanwhile, theAgribussiness Development Agency(OYSADA) General Manager (GM) Mr. Olusola Popoola has said all the palliatives sent by the National Care Program of the Federal Government ( FG) to registered farmers since 2014 are very intact depending the outcome of a five man committee set up to look into the matter as a result of a petition written against why the materials have not been distributed to enhance food security in the state.

Foodfarmnews finding from the General Manager of OYSAP, Mr. Olusola Popoola revealed that the items sent are initiative of defunct Fadama 111 program of 2014 which were just being sent through NigeriaCare (N care) program to farmers that registered their names way back then in 2014.

Mr. Popoola pointed out that all efforts to get to the initial registered farmers in whose names those items were sent from Abuja proved abortive, and that was the reason of the delayed distribution adding all the items are still complete in the warehouse at Apata, Ibadan.
