FG tasks AGOA committee $50 million export opportunity to US

The Federal Government (FG) through its trade and investment ministry has constituted a technical committee to chart out an actionable plan towards achieving $50 million export opportunity in the United States ( US) market with substantial agricultural produce through African Growth and Opportunity Act ( AGOA).

This was contained in a statement made available to us today through the office of press and public relation headed by Mr. Adebayo Thomas.

The statement quoted the Minister of FMITI, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo  tasking the committee members headed by the Executive Director, Export Promotion Council, Dr. Ezra Yakusak to ensure that the country harness the AGOA opportunity to achieve $50 million export opportunity of our products and agricultural produce into American markets.
