Cottage Processing: Industry Bank, Agric Ministry, private stakeholders meet July 4-5

Cottage Processing

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture in conjunction with the Bank of Industry will be holding a stakeholder meeting on cottage crop processing factory.

According to the invitation document, issues expected to be discussed include the review of bank loan billing; cost of the cottage package; commitment and down payment; feed back from factor beneficiaries and discussion on how to coordinate the beneficiaries who will be taking advantage of the available business opportunities.

This meeting is expected to increase the pace of adding value to agricultural produce in the drive of the federal government to ensuring economic diversification.
