Guinness Nigeria over the last decade has consistently increased its use of local raw materials in the manufacturing of its various iconic brands such as Malta Guinness. Currently, the local raw material component in all our brands manufactured in Nigeria is over 80% with plans to grow this to 95% by the year 2022.

Cities could play a key role in conserving pollinators, new research shows. According to a study published in the journal “Nature Ecology and Evolution”, residential and community gardens in urban areas are pollinator ‘hotspots’. “Urbanization is increasing globally, and it is thus crucial to promote management strategies that support key ecosystem services provided by urban biodiversity, such as pollination,” the researchers write.
