The Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria (AMBCN), during a one-day capacity building sponsored by Crown Flour Mills has demanded the need for an operational act that would enhance global professionalism practices of its members just as the Community Allied Farmers Association of Nigeria (COMAFAS) requested for the revival of cassava bread initiative so as to reduce wheat flour import and high prices occasioned by dealers.

His long career began with helping out on the family farm in Lexington, Massachusettes. After serving in the government for many years, he later co-founded his own nonprofit called Wholesome Wave. Throughout all, he promoted food justice.

Researchers from the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture found in August that every formulation of the herbicide dicamba they tested—including Monsanto’s XtendiMax, BASF’s Engenia, and DuPont’s FeXapan—displayed volatility, or a tendency to blow away from the location it was originally sprayed. Some formulations remained volatile for up to 36 hours, even when proper application instructions were followed carefully.

Many stakeholders at the sesame seeds training and awareness raising on best agronomic practices to attracting market and ensuring food safety were yesterday totally perplexed at the devastating effect of mycotoxin on both human and animal just as 4.5 billion people are said to be exposed to the bacteria, thereby causing one ill health or the other with Nigeria having no specific regulation to ensure control.
