We are combating land grabbers with infrastructure- FCA provost

Provost of the Federal College of Agriculture Dr. Samson Adeola Odedina

The Provost of the Federal College of Agriculture Dr. Samson Adeola Odedina has said that his management has embarked on infrastructural provision to reclaim the Institute’s land from grabbers.

Dr. Odedina while taking Food Farm News around the new facilities on the campus said they have resorted to building solar street lights and block of classrooms to reclaim back the college land from encroachers and land grabbers who had occupied spaces that are not legally theirs.
According to the Provost “the solar energy street is in the 2018 budget to strategically ward off land grabbers and to improve security on the campus. Also part of the project are the classrooms, a processing centre, tick plantation and palm to claim back the encroached land. Already the grabbers are packing at the sight of the projects without any police involvement and litigation”
The provost added that the college has got a clinic of first of its kind to cater for health challenges of students at any period of time especially during examination period pointed a doctor and nurses are already engaged to work.
