Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has assured that the Ministry will work to exploit the $500 billion bee market, while admitting that Nigeria is lingering behind in beekeeping cultivating.


Ogbeh, who enrolled a few advantages of beekeeping uncovered this at the sixth Edition of ApiExpo in Abuja. said that Bee farmers across the country is currently targeting to use the Expo as a stepping stone towards exploring the potentials of exporting honey to the European Union market.AS Nigeria prepare to host this year’s Apicultural Expo (ApiExpo), Bee farmers across the country is currently targeting to use the Expo as a stepping stone towards exploring the potentials of exporting honey to the European Union market.

"Beekeeping has enhanced the lives of smallholder ranchers with an estimation of $500 billion."

He gave cheering news that "Legislature will attempt the more noteworthy help in beekeeping industry.
