President Muhammadu Buhari
has signed into law the Agriculture Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGSF) along
with nine others.
This ACGSF act by the
time it is fully implemented will enhance more access to credit facilities to
farmers towards mass production thereby ensuring the diversification of the
economy into commercial agriculture.
Already, the sponsor
of the bill, Senator Andy Uba from Anambra South district of the 8th
National Assembly has expressed appreciation to the President for signing it
into law pointed the implementation would drive the green revolution policy of
the Federal Government.
