New National Cashew President promises repositioning

The newly elected President of National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN) Hon. Ojo Joseph Ajanaku has promised to reposition the association with strategic mechanism to regulate the produce in the market.

After his victory in an election conducted by the board members of the association under the watch of Federal Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (FMITI) and Federation of Agricultural Commodity Association Nigeria (FACAN) officials, the elected Ajanaku promised to take the association to an enviable height as he would open a national secretariat office complex with various departments saying a measure would be put in place to checkmate foreign influence in the sub-sector markets.
The new president who hails from Edo State may have taken over from Mr. Tola Faseru who Food Farm News learnt has sought an injunction from the court of law demanding restrain on election into any executive post of this association even as the majority of the association members believed that the former president had over stayed after eight years in an office without ready to conduct an election.
