Agric council meeting may hold in October

The National Council of Agriculture ( NCA) meeting, where decisions on policies implementation on food security are taken has been tentatively slated for sometime in October 2025. A reliable source told FoodFarmNews in the Ministry at Abuja.

Our source, who wanted his name not to be disclosed, said the month of October has been tentatively slated for the event, just as approval from the Minister of Agriculture is being awaited for the next line of action.

We are told preparation to hold the council meeting is ongoing as a formal letter regarding the event has been drafted, and it's before the Minister, adding it would now be transferred to the Kaduna state government for final approval being the official host.

Our source also emphasized that the host state must meet all the requirements of hosting.
