Ogun Governor commends new 54 experts on broiler project

About 54 trained in Ogun were last Thursday received by the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in his office as certified broiler production experts. This was contained in a release made available to food farm news last week.

Prince Abiodun commended the graduands for being able to complete the one year pilot phase of the Ogun broiler project with an achievement of N150, 000 profit by individual of them in three cycles of six weeks saying a total of 162,000 broiler birds have been off taken at the end of the first pilot phase.

The Ogun Agric team, led by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Adeola Odedina to the Governor, had the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Director of Livestock Services, Coordinator of Ogun Broiler Project, and others in attendance.
