FG to inaugurate Committee for land use decree

The Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh may this week formally inaugurate a committee that will look into better repositioning of National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA).

This programme supposed to have taken place last week Friday, but the unavoidable presidential assignment took away the minister thereby making the event not to hold at Minister’s conference hall of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Ministry Permanent Secretary, Dr. Bukar Hassan told the journalists who have already gathered for the occasion that the minister may not be available as he had just returned from Lagos, and he was being urgently called by the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

According to Dr. Hassan “the minister is just coming from Lagos and had to go to the Villa to attend to the call of the Acting Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and that is why I have to delay the meeting, until the minister approves of a new date next week”
