GroGenesis to Participate in Sustainable Climate-Smart Agriculture Summit in Brasilia
GroGenesis are the developers and manufacturers of innovative agricultural enhancement products marketed under the trade names "AgraBurst" and "AgraBlast," is pleased to advise that as part of an ongoing commitment to education and partner development, it has committed to participate in a major initiative focused on the future of agriculture in Brazil, a country offering immense farmland capacity.
The event, "Climate-Smart Agriculture Achieving Sustainable Intensification" is scheduled to be held March 1-2, 2016 at Fenix Eventos, Brasilia, Brazil. The event organized by the Challenge Advisory (www.challenge.org) with the support of the Embrapa and the Ministry of Agrarian Development will convene this extraordinary meeting to explore the use of Climate-Smart Agriculture. Within Brazil there is a significant need to improve the way agricultural systems and natural resources are managed to effectively achieve sustainable economic growth. The event targets an audience including global and domestic NGO's, corporations, legal interests, farmers, financial concerns, United Nations representatives, government ministries, distributors, professional services and domestic operators. To review a summary of the event please visit: http://bit.ly/1KTHYsJ.
Brazil has the greatest farmland capacity in the world, with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) projecting the total potential arable land within the vast tropical savanna region known as the Cerrado at over 200m/ha (494.2m/acres) alone; yet only 50m/ha (20.2m/acres) is currently being used. Areas such as Bahia, Goias, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Tocatins, Maranha and Minas Gerais have the potential to serve Brazil's economy and help with the food security of an additional 3 billion people.
Mr. Karveh Cavalieri, Challenge Advisory Managing Partner comments, "I am delighted to welcome the team at GroGenesis to our event. There is great interest in biostimulants and crop protection products, especially qualified eco-friendly offerings. Sustainable solutions are the nexus of agricultural innovation and we look forward to providing GroGenesis an opportunity to build what we trust will be many long term and fruitful associations in this increasingly important sector."
Company CEO and President, Joe Fewer notes, "We look forward to fully understanding the challenges in Brazil so that we can best position our product marketing in the region. We aim to accelerate talks with potential regional distributors and really look forward to meeting what is sure to be a wealth of stakeholders in the sector. This highly credible and very significant event could be a game-changer for our efforts in Latin America."
