Stakeholders want fisheries/Aquaculture domicile in Blue ministry

In an effort to ensure maximum utilization of economic potentials in the Fisheries and Aquaculture in Nigeria through a new policy that will run from 2024-2028, an instituted policy experts by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ( FMARD), now renamed Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS) by President Bola  Ahmed Tinubu are already finalizing a policy document for the sub sector in view of the newly created Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy (FMME).

FACAN awards night promises hope for food security, stakeholders speak....

The Federation of Agricultural Commodity Associations of Nigeria ( FACAN) recognition night has promised to double food production, just as Prof. Gbolagbade Ayoola in his keynote address described policies' non implementation as a bane of food security since independence.

Food Emergency: Potato farmers demand for funds, inputs support

Agric Minister raises hope on food as Gov. Zulum takes the opposite on palliatives

 The newly assigned Minister, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security ( MAFS), Sen. Abubakar Kyari has guaranteed Nigerians food security just as Governor Babagana Zulum of Bornu state did not align to the palliative policy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
