FG REINSTATES 91 SACKED WORKERS OF COCOA INSTITUTE

The Federal Government has reinstated the 91 sacked workers of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN), Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan, Oyo State. While welcoming the staff back to work, the Acting Executive Director of the Institute, Mrs. Feyisara Okelana, said the institute has received a letter which vindicated the sacked workers stating that their sack was victimization.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has ordered Federal Universities of Agriculture to henceforth concentrate on their core areas of mandate. He stated clearly that, “60 per cent of the curriculum and outlines should be on practical, 20 per cent on theory and 20 per cent on research.”
